itsthe shitty batteries, they only last a few years tops and lose capacity every year, its expensive to get the lithium out of the ground and very damaging to the environment. id hold out on electric till we get decent batteries.maybe a hybrid is fine if its not one of those shitty first gen hybrids that offered only a mimor improvement on mpg. one of those hybrids that can go full electric when you want it, that would be fine. then youd never have to worry about running out of battery and could just enjoy the electric driving while it lasts.
