you are a retard, if you had invested 3 years ago, you would be still in profit

>> No.11759782

Same but when it was new, and then every year after that until 2016. It hurts

You also don't use fiat or stocks right? Since they are also ponzis

>> No.11759831

BTC is by definition, not a ponzi.

so why didn't you two put your nonexistent money where your mouth is and short it instead of larping here

btw I didn't invest either because I have no money, and that's a good thing, crypto is an interesting technology but 99% of the attention it got was to scam dumb people out of their money in a new way by claiming it can replace mainstream currencies

I didn't even know what shorting is and you probably couldn't even short bitcoin in the early exchanges

I knew a guy back in 2011 who compared mining BTC to farming high-tier gear in WoW. He's feeling pretty silly these days.

yeah, I would have done the same, or I would have sold way before the bull run

people need to stop deluding themselves that they would have been rich if they bought

I didn't spend a cent on Bitcoin, so I'm still earning technically.

You nerd. Coins will always have value in the form of betting with odds in your favor if you can acquire many coins or join a group that can. Coins allow us to manipulate pricing through organized pump and dumps. So what if they start out as ponzi schemes. Take advantage you utter twark.

When I heard of BTC at 1$ I immediately realized that it is way inferior to Paypal and will never be adopted.
Little would I know that greed knows no limits and makes brainless NEETs rich for having DIGITAL MONOPOLY MONEY

Saying you "knew Bitcoin was a ponzi" before last year is an especially retarded larp, because up until last year it was unclear whether Bitcoin could actually be scaled effectively to live up to its promise. It was unknowable whether it would succeed or not at that point.
As far as I'm concerned it can be written off as a failed attempt at a decentralised global currency NOW, but only on the back of the technical hindrances and governance debacles that we've seen in the last 18 months.
