Idk why I'm even posting here when all you guys do is circle jerk about your e-coins so I'll keep it quick and not waste your time.

I'm thinking about buying like $5k of marijuana stocks and sitting on it for a few years. Any stockfags here that can lend their opinions on the topic?

I have weed stocks. Buy Aurora and Canopy but maybe wait a little bit because we're nearing a major crash. Either way it will pay off in the next decade.

Also, don't put your entire portfolio into it. It's highly speculative at this point but I think those two companies are the closest things you have to marijuana "blue chips". Wait until they're undervalued before you buy though. I bought them while they were overvalued. Make sure to diversify your portfolio with Vanguard ETF's, Metals, and Bonds. Also, get dividend stocks.

I'm only buying if its a trustless, peer-to-peer decentralized network with off-chain scaling solutions and interoperability between other advanced sports betting A.I algorithms.

Why Vanguard over Fidelity?

They're both fine I suppose. Although I'd have to do more research on Fidelity. I just picked vanguard because that's the one I've always used and trust.

Gotcha. Fidelity is legit, better website and customer service IMO

Also Aurora tanked today, earnings was solid and the market took the gains

you should have bought years ago like everyone else. everyone has already gone back to crypto, since marijuana bubble reached its peak. it will go down alot shirt term, but long term marijuana stocks might be decent investment

DONT buy shares in an american weed company. It's still federally illegal and a crazy enough executive branch could fuck you over completely, buy canadian instead. I hear good things about aurora canabis

I noticed. I was expecting 11 dollars a share if good earnings came in. I was pretty shocked to see that correction today. Either way I made sure to buy some when it went below 7 dollars a share.

For a larger company,Get Aphria, especially if it dips a little more. I have been invested in marijuana since 2015, and I will tell you that Aphria over 2019 will have more output capacity that Aurora. For what is due to happen they offer the best price point. Canopy is also a good play long term.

A small company suggestion is a small company called Halo Labs, if US marijuana companies interest you. Their ticker is HALO in Canada, and AGEEF in the US. I recommend getting a small portion.

There you go, that's my current portfolio. I might scale into more US based companies later on.

Aphria is a much more attractive buy than Aurora. APHA will have more square footage in 2019, and Aurora overpaid for their expansion by making too many expensive acquisitions.

Kicker: Aphria is established in more countries than any other Canadian producer.

I hold around $30k in ACB and $30k in CGC, should I balance some of this into Aphria?

This. Bought Aphria at 11.75/share recently.
Hoping it goes down some more in value so I can buy another batch soon.

I would say so, maybe split the ACB up so you can have $15K in APHA,

Aphria is also going to announce their expansions are completed this week or next week. About 200,000 sq feet. A much larger facility (1M sq ft) will be completed Jan/Feb. Aphria is something to hold over 2019 for sure. I have $110K in them now. Just never buy them at anything that looks like an all time high. Only buy them after a drop, or when they are dropping. Now is probably a good time.

got it, thanks

And don't forget Halo Labs. Keep an eye on them at least. Sometime in the next two weeks they will have their California expansion announcement. From then on, they will be making nearly the entire value of their market cap in revenues through contracts. I would be surprised if these guys do not double or triple over the next 6 months.
