Enlighten me here. If every trade is a taxable event then I would hate to have to deal with the THOUSANDS of transactions with possible realized gains. So couldn't I theoretically consolidate all my earnings into BTC, then buy monero. Then send it to a new binance account if I use a burner phone with hotspot with a cheap 200$ laptop which I obviously wont register my info so none of the IP's would be linked by me. Then I can say the monero was gifted to me when I cash out.

Please help a lad and also correct me where I'm misinformed, if any.

That would be illegal. Just pay your taxes like everyone else here.

Do your best. Remember that a machine is reviewing your paperwork. Unless you're trying to launder a huge amount of money you'll be fine.

How can they find trades on binance? and also monero? I would suggest not going through exchange like coinbase, use localbitcoisn or spend in monero

This has been figured out already. Whatever amount you cash out you report the trade like bought x at y and sold for z. That's one trade. As long as you report something and pay, I doubt they'll investigate beyond that.

I originally was just going to do initial investment and cash out amount as my realized gains through cuckbase. I started with 5k in coinbase which I then sent to an exchange for alts, resulting in now 50k. If i went back through cuckbase to send to bank would they really go that deep into which trades made me that?

No. Monero is traceable. Like anything you do. IRS is going to get you. Don't be stupid and be a good goy.
