bought a bunch of /biz/ memes at the beginning of the january and lost nearly everything.

Doubled down in March/April on the Coinbase meme coins and made most of it back in SAT value, but still down 50% in fiat

I went from 4k to 200k+ all the way back down to 10k. I wasted so much time researching and trading and I have nothing to show for it. And yet here I am wasting more of my life trying to get back to where I was.

The only research you ever have to do is look at news articles and then just ride the hype train

I've been told to trade against news

Started the year with 10k, got up to 270k and now I'm cruising at 220k. Been trading like a madman just to keep it there. If btc starts trending down again, it could get rough. Old pic but the numbers are mostly still relevant.

Yes, after the bull run. Basically what happened was so much money got pumped into the market in late 2017 and the bubble popped so suddenly that a lot of people were in too much disbelief to just pull out all at once so from January to June or so the volatility was absolutely amazing. Every time the market pumped a little bit, people would see their chance and dump. I bought the most extreme dumps and sold on the next pump all the way down. Since volatility has died the last 2 or 3 months this strategy has significantly less returns. Best I can say is wait for the next bull run and make as much as you can on the way up then trade your ass off on the way down. My timing was right and I was lucky as hell for it.
