There are far more popular cryptos pretending to be decentralized which are in a far more centralized state than ARK. Obviously this pseudo-cartel debacle isn't ideal, but if this causes anyone to sell they'd be wise to re-evaluate all their other bags too just in case they're even worse.

Reminder that delegates have been exposed to launder funds for whales, it was publicly acknowledged that delegates were selling ARK to BTC for their voters as a service. This allowed their voter/whales to escape a taxable event, and the subsequent taxes that are meant to be paid. tfw delegates are literally providing money laundering and tax evasion as a service. I wonder what the IRS and the SEC'll have to say about this.

I agree with you OP. I sold a while ago after those slack logs. Then was thinking about buying in, but after the moon drama, the delegates saving the network while the devs sat on their hands I was pretty hesitant. Then I saw this news and decided I'll never buy this coin again. The fact that this wasn't made transparent from the start, and the fact they tried to hide it and justify it is fucked. Not to mention all the arkies somehow dismissing this as a non-issue. Fuck that, it's going to be EOS all over again.
