Is this a legit way to out-jew my boss?

>go to doctor
>get a sign off from work for depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts
>chill at home while boss has to pay wagies
>reverts to government sick wages which is higher than unemployment because of taxes I've paid
>still technically employed so get employer contribution too but smaller than full wage
>chill like that for a while because boss can't fire me for that alone unless they want to catch a discrimination case
>eventually they can give me a notice of redundancy which is 3 months so have to pay me 3 months wages plus holiday pay
