Toyota is integrating blockchain (in PoC stage, both Hyperledger and Ethereum). Long term they'll be using one or the other. Based on their desired results, it seems like they prefer Eth, but with scaling being what it is, it looks like HL will be a stop gap solution (they could go off-chain compute via LINK but I don't think they've considered it yet).
Their goal is to provide transparency in supply chain at certain points (example being when a customer's car leaves assembly line).

Also, they are planning on either using a secure connector via IBM and/or a distributed oracle.
