>Dear ******,

>My name is ************ and I'm an Executive Recruiter with *************, a recruiting business partner with **************. I reviewed your profile on LinkedIn and I am interested in speaking with you regarding our Stress Engineering positions with the Engineering Center in *******.

>I would like to invite you to meet with me and hiring managers about this opportunity on March 22nd. Please let me know if you are interested in attending this event and meeting with us.

It makes finding a job a little easier, is what I'm saying.

Not at all. I got offers from top tech companies without LinkedIn, Kikebook, and other social media bullshit.

In France it's close to 0, but I've heard it was way more used in the US.

Puts me in contact with dozens of recruitment firms that probably run scripts to see change in employment. The day I say I'm unemployed is the day I line up a dozen interviews.

Depends what job.
I work as a chef, and no one uses it. My mate is an environmental consultant (did a enviro science degree now developers hire him to make sure they don't incure massive environmental pollution fines from the gov.) and he gets a bunch of job offers from linkedin.

>stacy bitch recruiter asks me if I'd like another interview at the same company since I left a good impression during my first interview
>say yes
>blows me off
recruiters are leeches. you are nothing more than dollar signs to them.

other than that, it's good to have some line of connection with people you've enjoyed working with.

I have an almost blank profile and I get recruiters contacting me pretty regularly from a handful of prominent companies. It's helped me get past the application phase of the process and get my resume directly in front of a human. Apart from that I don't think it's very valuable.

even this slut https://www.linkedin.com/in/brynn-wallner-44b00758
can get a job at a hedge fund or keep a job at a leading social media advertising company in LA with a linked in page whilst posting slutty lewd pics to her twitter and instsagram
