The truth is: With Grin incoming, if one of those three survive, it can only be Monero. It's the only fair one, truly decentralized and private by default, with the biggest supporting community. Now with BP implementation, there's no reason to worry about high fees and scalability (for now). But Monero is yet to face Grin, its true big competitor. Those 2 other defeated shit coins were just peanuts compared to what is to come.

Note: I didn't even mentioned PIVX or DERO because it's not even worth mentionating a PoS crap or a scam premined fork.

It doesn't count because it's sidechain mined with Monero, like a complement from it to manage digital assets. I was talking about privacy coins in general.

And there will be masari with more upside potential.

Well, as a Masari holder, I would put it and all other CryptoNote coins (the legit ones) with Monero. I mean, I'm talking about Grin x CryptoNote protocol in general.

Calm down, dear anon. Despite Grin appearing to be a very promising privacy coin made by a brilliant team (like Monero), Grin will have a very high inflation rate in the first years (because of its constant 50 block reward with no halving over time). So, it's unlikely that a very big value increase will be possible in the first years of it.

XMR is the Ubermensch of coins. Truly. There is no other coin, even "king" btc cannot compete.

>> No.11540207

Monero has proven history which is something to consider. It's been used for a while -- pretty common on the darknet markets. Monero has a lot of infrastructure as well (although pretty small if compared to Bitcoin). Monero is not going away never, unless someone finds a bug compromising the whole protocol or infinite inflation.

I mean, what the fuck do you think all the Koreans are doing on Bithumb? 190M daily volume. Only btc with more. They know the truth. That in the end fungibility and anonymity will be all that matter.

But I'm speaking about Grin, the one to be released yet.

>> No.11540240

ok cool a coin that doesn't exist in reality yet. We can cross that bridge when we get there, but it doesn't mean shit if it has no market cap. XMR has first mover advantage in the "truly anonymous" sphere.

>> No.11540251

>>11540234
just went on their website, first line "Grin is still experimental technology" - it may have great tech but if we're talking "I can actually use this shit to buy/sell" which is ultimately what fungibility comes down to and is the only thing that matters beyond privacy, XMR blows it the fuck out.
