Who else here needs to win this lottery?
Amazing how crypto turned out to actually be a bigger scam than the lottery.

this must be positive EV after taxes by now. how long until Bill Ackman or some hedge fund goes all in?

wrong its way way negative ev. and actually the larger jackpots reduce ev not increase it

Won't happen, if someone else happens to get the winning number then it means they have to share, and then the payout is dropped by half, making it a loss. And if multiple people get the same number, HA!

I didn't daytrade, I just held. Still shit.

how so? I thought that the odds were approx 1:303 million to get the jackpot so if a ticket is $2 you need to make $606 million after taxes for it to be +EV. what makes it worse as the jackpot goes up?

>> No.11471844

Also, I'm an ass man now.

>> No.11471929

because more people play it when the jackpot gets big thus the chances of having a matching ticket with someone else increase, so you're more likely to have to share the jackpot with 1 or more other people when you win it. with lower jackpots when less people are playing this is not the case.

>because more people play it when the jackpot gets big
Proof that people are idiots. Is the regular jackpot not enough of a return on their $2 investment?

>> No.11471971

>>11471937
Well...
A. It gets marketed more when the jackpot is bigger so people who wouldn't normally even remember the lottery exists will buy a ticket.
B. No it's not really worth it.

NEED? No.
Would like to? Absolutely. Family already knows the operating procedure in the event any of us wins (because we know it would require relocating everyone.) Parents already have a cover story for their new home and I just made some BTC money as a kiddo for my own explanation after petitioning for a new legal identity.

>bigger scam than the lottery.

I more than doubled my savings with crypto, so only for you it was a scam

Also this. I made good money with crypto before getting greedy. I'm still at 10x my initial $100 investment, though I saw over 200x at one point.

We should socialize mega millions. Everyone spends $2, and then gets $1.50 in return. The state spends the rest on advertising and overseaing the lottery.

>> No.11473036

We zullen zien
