This article is extremely bullish long-term, especially Terpin getting scammed TWICE for $24M+ that he had tied to a fucking cell phone.

These complete brainlets are the face of crypto right now, and true normies will read this garbage and stay away for years, not knowing that everyone here made stupid, avoidable mistakes. We have plenty of time to accumulate.

Reminder: If you own more than $1k in crypto, and keep everything on your phone/exchange, you deserve to get scammed like these people. Use a hardware wallet, and if you understand how it actually "works", there is no way your coins will be compromised. Write that fucking seed in two different shitty books and put them on your shelf. Don't EVER save it anywhere else.

Tell me how will they crack it? After 3 attempts it locks for some time. After 3 more it locks for even more time. Besides if I notice my phone is lost I can send Binance an email and let them lock my account.
>inb4 lel binance
If Binance gets hacked then it's gonna be rip for all crypto. If I somehow lose my wallet then it's gonna be rip for me. Anyways I only have $8k in crypto.

This is too elaborate/condescending of a reply to be trolling. If you think that your iPhone passcode will protect your crypto, you need to sell it all today and move on. Nevermind the fact that you hold $8k in an untrustworthy Chinese exchange that could get Gox'd at any minute.

Have fun camping out in Malta with a cardboard sign like these guys. You won't even get a Tokyo vacation out of it.

>Ignoring his obvious point

If Binance "gox'd" it is all over for crypto. No normies buying in, no insitutional money no nothing. Nobody except internet nerds trading $1.5 bitcoins hoping it will go up again.

funds won’t be safu for much longer. binance has usdt trading pairs. btw, hacks result in reduced crypto supply, so price goes up, not down.

How the fuck is this bullish -- normies excitedly announcing that they've "researched" crypto and arent thinking twice about buying thousands of dollars worth to replace what was stolen from them... That's the fucking sell signal you fucking retard

>implying the world's largest crypto exchange doing 70%+ of transactions didn't already get "Gox'd"
>implying this "Gox'ing" already killed the entire cryptocurrency market

You're just proving my point that all the "educated crypto investors" are actually complete brainlets. With custody services and new technology this is not a barrier to institutional investors and intelligent users who are already avoiding getting wrecked.

IOTA S-O-Y-vestors making dumb decisions shouldn't come as a shock to anyone. Their whole story reads like one of those parody posts here, except instead of being made fabulously wealthy, Peggy and Marco Lachmann-Anke just lost it all and went in even more. They probably even resued their same wallet. You're also forgetting that
someone got fabulously wealthy off of their ineptitude, and managed to pump even more fiat into the marketcap.

Lmao the FBI had trouble entering an Iphone and you think some wannabe hackers are gonna crack my 7 digit pin in less than a day? Unless your phone is rooted without TWRP password then I can't see them getting in.

Or, alternatively, your phone could get destroyed and then you have to beg binance help desk to reset your 2FA. Have fun with that.

Not to mention the various ways SMS 2FA has been hacked (without actually having the victims phone!) over the years. You're either a dipshit or dont have enough money to care

The couple is the subjects who lost all their IOTA in this story. It doesn't specify what Terpin lost, but I'm assuming ERC-20 tokens because he's an ICO proponent and the article uses "tokens" rather than "coins" when describing his separate loss-events.

>>11443150
No excuse unless he's too much of a brainlet to realize he can store ERC-20s in any ethereum hardware wallet.
