do you think people are hesistant to share what TA works well in the markets because they don't want the herds removing the value from parts of the market that have been their bread and butter?

no, they all share their stupid T.A cause the only way it works is because the herd tards copy paste their idea.

This. They will spread the use of "resistances" and "double tops" and "cups and handles" so they can build strategies profiting from retards that think these things actually work.

95%+ of TA traders wont beat the market in the long run. The few traders who crush the market (<0.1%) obviously won’t share their strategies. What you see on Twitter, YouTube, discord etc. are all amateurs. Literally. I have a family member who trades DAX/FTSE futures for a living (used to work for Deutche Bank and a hedge fund) and has made tens of millions. He would NEVER give away his strategies for free to strangers on the internet.

you mean 5%

Nah I meant <0.1%. The majority of the top 5% are break even/ slight winners very long term.

Are you stupid? Every crypto "trader" is desperate to share every single prediction they ever make.

Not true at all unless you’re talking about amateur traders. All of these social media traders are completely clueless (and so are 99% of the traders who posts on biz/plebbit). The highly experienced traders who have worked for major trading desks, banks, quant funds etc. and/or have made millions aren’t you giving you anything for free.

no, all TA strategies work but markets change and TA is only successful in with the right market conditions and environment, successful guys know when to change strategies instead of relying on a one trick pony.
classic example is trend traders in a ranging market, trend following works, no doubt, but doing so in a ranging market is a guaranteed drawdown period, the trend guys making money either don't trade or trade micro-trends(ie.swing trading)
