11386493 No.11386493 [Reply] [Original]

The sky is the limit edition.
In this thread, I'm going to compile the best passive income streams ordered by investment required, including both online and offline options
Little to no Investment($100-$1k)
>Dropshipping
>Social Media Marketing
>Digital Media or Marketing of any kind
>Web Development
>Freelance software development
>Affiliate Marketing
>Making Online Courses
>Self publishing Ebook(comprehensive guide:https://kindlepreneur.com/book-marketing-101/))
>product arbitrage

Some Investment Required($1k-10k)
>ATMs
>POS Systems
>Slumlording
>Daytrading
>P2P Lending
>Authoring or Online publishing
>Vending Machines
>Automated News sites or any kind of automated blog
>Automated online Arbitrage with the help of a buybot

Large Investment Required, but still very passive(10k+)
>Parking Garages or lots
>Laundromats
>Batting Cages
>Rental Properties
>Buying Royalty rights on music, media, etc

I'm sure there are dozens of others that are out there but that's what I can think of off the top of my head. I personally do 6 of these and those 6 are my only streams of income. They are:
>an ATM business with 10 machines at $3/transaction $200max
>Three affiliate sites
>A parking lot near my university(extremely high revenue but also my highest expenses)
>Digital Media/Marketing Agency which I have people running so I rarely have to be involved
>One rental property(barely profitable yet)
And the big kicker
>subscription based SaaS products, two of them with a third well on the way

Feel free to add more and share your knowledge, experience, advice with others, but I think that's a lot of value that you won't find in most threads here.

Building niche job boards might be a way to make substantial money on a pretty simple website/idea.
For example, I'm building a free tool helping people test their vocab and Kanji skills before the jlpt (standardized Japanese language test). The site will mainly drive Scandinavian users since I own the domain jlpt.se. I've already gotten it featured on one of the bigger Japanese learning blogs.
The thing is that the Nordic countries do quite a lot of business with Japan (Norway exports a fuck ton of fish. Sweden and Finland exports wood), it's however hard to find people with actual skills in Japanese. Creating a job board on the same spot people go to learn is motivating for the learner and companies will pay for the exposure to the correct niche of possible workers.

My question is, I don't have marketing skills or software development skills. How could I possibly make enough money on my own?

I'm sure those two businesses bring in a bulk of your profits OP.

I currently wagekek 11 hours a day and only have $50k saved up, could sell a few things and have $75k, but I feel like I have no time to really do anything else BUT work. Even when I'm off I still work.

How do you take the plunge into doing these passive income things? If I could make $4k/month without a job I'd quit my job in a hearbeat even though that's half of what I make.

Ok let's say I want to buy just one ATM.

Can I just wander around talking to businesses until I find a couple interested locations? Let's assume I don't make an ass of myself doing this.

I don't want a relationship with a company with some gay quotas to hit.

I hate doing sales but I'll do this here and there on the weekends to get locations for my machine(s).

Once I get a location and let's say I can pitch in 1 to 3 grand to get the machine in there. Can I just collect passive income after that?

Will an ATM company service the machine and send me checks??

Is it still worth it to invest in land for a weed / CBD / hemp farm? I understand the market is already starting to get saturated, but it seems like a relatively cheap startup.

My friend owns a small ranch in Texas, and we can get a license for hemp / CBD manufacturing, and that way we'll be poised when it becomes legal recreationally. We can use the cows he owns for fertilizer.

Total investment would probably be about $30k if we want to do it right, $15k from each of us. What do you guys think?

Keep in mind, we aren't growing for quality buds (at least not yet). This is for industrial hemp use and CBD. The cost per plant versus return of an outdoor grow makes more financial sense in this regard that indoor growing / hydroponics.

Once Texas legalizes, then we'll talk about doing a warehouse / greenhouse.

I've smoked outdoor weed I'm not saying its bad stuff, my point is its basically pointless and it doesnt actually save you money or earn extra cash in any metric.
The best thing you can do if you want to grow it outdoors is move somewhere ultra fertile like Hawaii with all the volcanic soil.
All the best weed is grown in the jungles of South America, Hawaii, other places in the equator like for example Morocco grow very good strains, as well as Afghanistan, certain other places in Africa etc.
If you grow in Texas you should have no problems but the heat might be a little too steep without the altitude to cool it down.
You might also have troubles growing sativas versus indicas.
I don't know much about oil production but I'm sure it makes no difference how you do it.
Honestly if I were you I wouldn't spend anywhere close to the money you are about to spend on growing weed.
What is the costs?
15,000 USD x 2?
Free manure?
Where is the extra costs coming from.
I know lights are kind of expensive but not that expensive.
All you need are lights, power, some ventilation, some seeds, some water, thats about it...
You could do that all with like 3 lamps for half the price you are talking.
Both of you shouldn't need to spend more than 10000.00. Thats a ridiculous amount of money to invest in something you have no customers for.
Do you guys even have the business plan like the branding, advertising, supply chain, distributers?
Weed is so common in Texas bro every single nigger in the ghetto has like 4 bags of different kinds of kush and they get it from Mexico so it cost next to nothing.
Why would you ever try to start drug dealing in Texas when your neighbor is the Global drug dealer of the planet Cartel owned Mexico?
You may as well open a business selling AR-15s and hunting mexican drug mules, steal their drugs, and sell the pot and claim you grew it.

>> No.11394109

>>11393780
Lot of misunderstanding in your post my dude.

We're not making weed for smoking at this point, we're making it for industrial purposes. I don't understand what you're not getting about that. Half your post is about smoking it, competing with drug dealers and the quality of the bud. That has nothing to do with our operation.

In order to be profitable to do that, we need a lot of land, and a lot of crop. That's the only way we're going have enough output to manufacture hemp and CBD on an industrial level. To do that we're talking 40+ acres of land, which we'd need to fertilize and irrigate ourselves. I'm pretty sure cartels don't give a fuck about who manufactures hemp or CBD. That's not really their market.

>> No.11394164 [DELETED]

>>11394109
Its not like you want to be growing some hemp to produce your CBD oils.
If you are making some extracts and concentrates you want high grade cannabis. Its not really that complex, just because your situation is more industrial doesnt discount quality control.
Its like I'm talking to some kind of amateur.
What extra costs are associated with extracting the raw chemicals from the flowers?
I'm pretty sure if you can make hash oils in your kitchen with a stove and an oven and some chemicals from the pharmacy then you can probably do it all the same large scale.

Its your problems I'm listing for you.
Go ahead and make some CBD oils 10 years too late and watch your profit shrink.
I'm not saying you can't grow it and sell it but the mexican cartels and the nigger gangbangers will always undercut you in the local market.
Also the cops WILL fuck with you and your buyers, and the the cartels might fuck you up too if they find your location.
Choice is yours bro.
I'd move to Hawaii to do it.

>Its not like you want to be growing some hemp to produce your CBD oils.

Yes, yes that's exactly what I'll be doing.

>If you are making some extracts and concentrates...

I'm not.

>I'm pretty sure if you can make hash oils...

That's not my business, I have no intention of producing THC or psychoactive compounds, as I've said over and over again. Not sure what you're not understanding about this.

>Go ahead and make some CBD oils 10 years too late...

CBD is just becoming mainstream now. I'm not too worried about it. And even if I do just break even, I'm only in the pot for $15k, which isn't all that much to me.

>Mexican cartels and the nigger gangbangers will always undercut you in the local market.

They don't give a fuck about industrial products. Show me one case of industrial sabotage by cartels or gangbangers.

>Also the cops WILL fuck with you

No they won't, because you can be licensed to legally grow hemp and CBD in Texas, and as I keep saying (over and over again), I'm not producing THC products.

Yeah but dude you are beating around the bush here. I have nothing against your idea my point is just 30,000 better be producing like EOY 100,000.00 after taxes & after profit. You seem to know what youre doing I'm just warning you that just because you got a license doesnt mean you are not entering an already established black market. Lets be honest dude ... CBD oil gets you high. Its great for people who have illnesses but everyone buy its for fun. The people who are already established in marijuana dealing will directly or indirectly be competing with you in the marketplace no matter how many approvals you get from the mayor or the police chief.
If you know whats good for you just keep a couple rifles on the ranch and some good hounds at the gate or you will regret it.
I have been around people who deal with simple pounds of pot and they aren't nice people.
