Why did EOS moon so hard in april, it seems most coins mooned hard in jan 2018 and then there was another mini bull run in april but why did EOS moon so hard in april and not january?

This. April was the pre-main net pump. Then the horribly botched main net and lack of a bounce after Consensus (or any good news, really) led to a dump that it's slowly been recovering from.
