I want something neoclassical. Plenty of bedrooms for my family and guests, maybe around twelve. A self-contained guest home. Servants quarters. A private movie theater. A large room to host parties in. A private library. A large kitchen so the chefs can cook for all the people living there. A /comfy/ living room with a TV. My master bed room would have a walk-in closet, a study, and a game room. It'll have a decent sized pool with two hot tubs. A tennis court and maybe basket ball court. A personal gun range. Maybe a private golf course. I'd also like a boat fairly close by the house, but being close to the water would make this a whole lot more expensive and makes privacy and seclusion harder.

>>11383762
Polygamy would make this whole scenario amazing. Imagine tacking on a new wife every few years and popping out hundreds of kids with 10/10 women. If divorce rape laws disappear and polygamy becomes legal then I'd totally do that.

Built myself a 65ksqf house 5 years ago.
Shit ain't worth it.
Too fucking big. Too hard to clean, waste a lot on heating/cooling,
Maintainance too damm high.
All pooefag friends and senpai want to chill over your house during weekends, so it is basicaly pinning you down and transform you in their servant. Tired of climbing stairs all day.
Bought a 700sqf appartment and I decided to move in and sell the house.
The roi of the house is very good though, that is the only advantage.
Pic related, the new appartment.

Even if my shitcoins mooned and I had $100 million dollars I wouldn't buy some extravagant mansion. Just a modest cabin in the mountains with 10-20 acres of land for privacy. My biggest joy would come from living a simple life where I don't have to work and can enjoy the peace of being in nature. Wouldn't evenind if it was off grid and I had to chop wood, hunt etc. Would be nice.

people get murdered in home invasions all the time, and most of those cases are normal houses with solid walls. this whole "you live in a glass house so everyone can see inside" view is stupid since many of these houses are surrounded by walls and security features. only a dumbfuck would live in a fancy glass house with no protection/security plan.

having said that, if i were rich i would never telegraph my status to the external via buying a fancy-looking house. either you build a secure compound with walls and shit or you just wait and see if your costly security features pay off. eventually something will fuck up, or the "armed response" will be too slow, or you'll be like john wick and get cucked even if you have guns.

Honestly love my house right now and looks kind of like the pic. Only thing I'd probably change is maybe add another 2 rooms and double my yard size. Probably could get what I want where I live for like $750k-800k. Then I'd just pay people for all upkeep as that's the most annoying thing about home ownership, and can get very expensive.

Chad as fuck. Imagine these fags who want to live in some mansion in malibu or LA, tripping over manservants and gardeners, getting robbed all the time, getting roasted alive and devoured by insects in the hellish summers.

Something small, cozy, secluded, easy to maintain, surrounded by natural beauty. That's all you need. A fortress of solitude to NEET the fuck out in. Real men check out of the zero-sum status game that all the other monkeys play, they leave all the ladder climbing and jostling and facades behind them and just focus on beauty, art, music, history and nature.

I've had the opportunity to live in a big house, in a village nearby the city for about 6 months.

NOT FUCKING WORTH IT

1 - Even though the city was at about 10-15 minutes distance, we would rarely go spend time in it. Maybe once every weekend.

REASON: Everytime we had to go out, we had to lock every fucking door, close all the window blinds, lights, things outside the house, had to make a plan for visiting the city, then a list with all the groceries and so on. There's so much shit to do before leaving the house that you would rather stay in the house

2 - Taxes, maintenance, home has cylinders, you can't heat the entire house because of the ridiculous costs, you can't cool the entire house for the exact same reasons. You are suffering in the winter and in the summer at peak temperatures

3 - Constant noise and privacy violation by the gardeners, pool cleaners and cleaning lady. A fucking horrendous experience to hear 2-3 times a week the lawn mower going on and on and on

4 - You can forget about living by yourself in a big house, even for a few days. It's a depressing and scary experience. You feel very isolated and sad, especially starting with the evening. This will probably force you to always be in a relationship

5 - If you can't leave the house for days or weeks at once without worrying that someone might break in it, or that something has been broken and needs to be fixed, or without having someone from the maintenance call you, or the alarm being activated by some stupid feral cats, then... you are living the life of a fucking SLAVE

I'm happy with living in a comfy apartment and leaving whenever the fuck i want without having to keep in touch with anyone. That's FREEDOM

I feel like a 6k square feet house is the perfect size. You just need a cleaner once every 2 weeks and maybe have 1 live-in nanny. 6 bedrooms/5.5 bedroom is the perfect size, 1 master, 1 for the in-law, 2-3 for the kids and 1 for an in house nanny/baby nurse. Maybe quarter acre to half acre lot for playground, pool, bbq area and tennis/basket court. Make sure you get a newish build for the open floor plans and modern insulation.
