You're going to start off with a win or two, then have a loss or break even or two, then another win that you take off the table 'too early', then you're going to increase your leverage and have a loss, and then another loss, and then increase leverage to 50x to recoup because you're now at $100 and get up but keep holding position because you want to get beyond your initial but price will go against uou and you'll finally close position deep in the red or get liquidated and leave for a while.

Bitmex does one thing right that all other exchanges should follow: you can't lose more than you put in. Bitmex just forcefully liquidates your position if you don't have the margin to back it up rather than pile driving you into debt. But then again, I'll bet other "real" exchanges won't do this because (((they))) run them.
