tldr: Would you delay your graduation for work experience?

>3rd year, 3.5 (and declining) GPA, accounting major
>never landed any public accounting interviews
>landed a cushy ($30/hr) O&G 8 month all expenses paid work term (even housing is provided for by company)

But heres the catch: My school doesn't offer credits for work experience so I'll effectively be pushing my graduation back one semester.

for a $30/hour all expenses job i would without even hesitating. especially if they are going to offer something similar or better full time after you graduate.

It's hard to say, the industry as a whole is pretty hurting right now. That being said, I found a blog from a student that went through the same program I was offered and "most of their friends" received return offers. The website also says that you're more likely to get a full time offer if you've done co-op terms with them.

In fact, I saw that the people that interviewed me only graduated 4-5 years ago. I guess people advance quick.

Is it an accounting-related job? Then yes.
