Yes, next half of this year I'll be in Bali, then we'll see

I've dabbled in online freelance a few times on upwork (when it was oDesk) and didn't find it to be pleasant.

I'm assuming you're not working through any of the sites like upwork, or have really established yourself. My problem on there was that it's pretty hard to earn anything since there are a million street shitters that will work for $3/hour.

Yeah, finding work offline in software is actually way easier than competing with curry programmers who know "everything" for $5/hour

Aren't you fucking lonely while doing remote work remotely?
I mean I love Bali and all, but the digital nomad lifestyle can be pretty dull because it feels...removed from real interactions that matters: friends family.

Just my 2 cents, I'm doing this as well anon and quite frankly it makes me want to part of something bigger than myself. But most corporations suck nowadays...

awww y0u butthurt pajeet can do a better job for a better price? You sound like one of those minimum wage cucks.

Stop scamming your fellow citizen and maybe they might want to work for you.

Depends on what kind of person you're. I personally like to talk to random people, so that's what I do. Making real friends after a certain age is pretty uncommon anyway.

I'm not butthurt and it's not a matter of doing a better job for a better price. The difference between me and "one of those minimum wage cucks" is that I have a skill and my time is worth more than $3/hour to the point that I'd rather just not do it.
