I missed the replies in the last thread so here goes again (ps thanks to anyone who did reply)

I have a 401k through my employer, I didn't think too much about it and just went with whatever they set up for me which is a targeted date of 2050 retirement but it has a .30% expense ratio. Would I be better served just focusing on putting my fund into a low cost index (the one offered is .05% expense ratio) instead? What would be the best time to do so, now when the market is week but likely wise my portfolio has also taken a hit, or when it's a little healthier? This is all new to me so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

What do you guys think of CLF? I bought it back in the spring before Trump started going hard with steel tariffs. It's been doing really well for me since then, but I'm curious if anyone thinks the rally may peter out once the tariffs come back down. I do believe the rally is genuine since 1906 until 2013.They've exited unprofitable Australian markets and are opening up a new plant in Toledo by 2020.
