Didn't see a general in the catalogue. Spreading good vibes to all my Nerva anons today as we sit on the precipous of 1k sats. Big thank you to anyone contributing to the exchange fund and anyone buying rn, it helps the project so much. We have moved so much in price already but people are wise and no one is selling anymore, new highs everyday and higher lows. Once this goes past 1k it will not go back down again, price growth so far has been really organic. 10k sat next destination

Brother that dip will not come. The wallets were offline for few days and that caused the initial spike up towards 700. It dipped down to the 500s again before shooing up. Holding strong now wouldn't wait too long for a dip. Remember the max supply of this is 18 million, it has so much further to grow in price.

The nethash increased from 1.9 MH/s at the beginning of yesterday, to upwards of 3.8 MH tonight (it's intermittent, looks like someone is fine-tuning their setup, but it must have a FUCK ton of hashpower)

The way the nethash and the price are both going, what's going to have to happen is for XNV to continue to moon harder than a motherfucker, in order to incentivize mining for the average individual, since Nerva is (at least for right now) completely solo-mined, no pools.

So, unlike other speculatively mined shitcoins, you can only really put your hashes up and walk the fuck away for a few days. You might get a block within the first hour of mining, or you might go a month without finding a single one. Obviously the more powerful your CPU (and thus the more hashes you're able to contribute to the network), the more likely it is that you'll find a block in a given unit of time. But at the end of the day(/month/year), there's no guarantees about how many blocks you'll actually win, and if that weren't constraining enough, the block reward is decreasing pretty significantly at a very rapid rate.

Idk what's going to happen, but what I'm saying is that just now, all of a sudden, it's starting to get incredibly hard to actually make a decent amount of Nerva from mining. And as it gets harder and harder, (assuming the project actually catches on big-time, of which I think there's a good chance) more & more individuals will be forced to basically market buy in order to secure a bag before it moons any further.

At the moment, on average it roughly takes somewhere between 3-5 days to find a single block per 500 H/s. My Ryzen 1700x gets 1300 H/s and my shitty thinkpad T450's i5 puts up a piddling ~100 H/s.

When I finally got around to correctly setting up the miner (~4 days ago), I was finding about 2 blocks/day without much trouble at all. So I played with the numbers calculating my profitability, and assumed that'd be a decent metric of expected rewards to go off of - but now the nethash has fucking doubled, and as of now I'm certifiably scared, as I haven't found another block since around this time last night.
