Blacklisted from my industry? Are Blacklists real

I've been on 25 interviews since being fired without a single job offer /biz/, is there a way to find out if I've been blacklisted?

Despair is creeping in, help me

Also, every single one of them I faced at least one foreign (usually Chinese woman) with whom I find rapport impossible to establish.

High hopes for the upcoming interview as all three are white males (Italian surnames)

There are blacklisting of people, particularly in niche fields like mine. I’m a pharmacist and all the local district and regional managers for Walgreens, CVS etc talk to each other as well as talk to state board members all the time, and they all know who the black sheep are.
Not sure what your profession is OP but companies are on the ‘minority and women preferred’ type hiring now so it may not be you per se. Just keep trying...if you keep getting interviews you’re not on a blacklist but getting fired from a previous job is never good.
Look for a smaller independent type business for what you do, they’re more likely to overlook that shit.

Yes but there’s a difference between being on a blacklist and just having a bad recommendation from a previous employer… If you can at all possible just avoid that on your resume and don’t put that company as a contact not sure what your situation is but it may be difficult but if you don’t have them listed they can’t contact them … If you can avoid them as a reference you’re better off just saying you were unemployed literally

And if you interviewed and you put down that you’re unemployed at the time and they ask you what you were doing or why you were unemployed the only reasonable answer is something like I was helping my sick dad or I was taking care of my sick and something like that where they can sympathize for a long period of unemployment And won’t really check up on it

My previous employer has a policy in place to simply confirm employment dates and titles upon departing. I don't think they can provide anything further such as reason for leaving etc
