From someone who is technically self employed, it’s a totally different mindset than waging. Do you work longer, sure I do anyway..I also don’t commute (used to be 10 hours of my week), deal with annoying coworkers, or answer to anyone other than myself. the longer and harder I work the more money I make, and in a few years I’ll probably barely need to work at all (I’m in my late 20s). I could give a shit about taking a vacation right now when if I do what I need to do for another few years my life will be a vacation.

If your customers own like a restaurant or small business or whatever I could see that being hell, but it’s not a particularly worse hell than waging Imo
