Neither: use the indicators that you derive yourself.

The most reliable exit indicator on crypto is the Liquidation Email you receive from bitmex.

For entries, pull up biz catalog, if you find more than 2 "time to go long" threads, you go all in otherwise you miss the opportunity of a lifetime.

For a more serios input here is the Holy Grail that I use. Works best on 4h and 1 day timeframes.
You only trade the trend, exit when the first candle paints the opposite color.

I removed the indicator's name to encourage you to do your on research and fiddling around on charts until you find your own best setup. MACD and RSI may help to confirm certain things but for entries and exits on a volatiole asset, well, they are way behind the actual changes in price.

this shit repaints the past chart. there are instances where the candle painted the different color and it didn't tell to exit. if you guys are desperate google "tradingview repaint bug in backtesting" and stay away from "90% winning strategies" and "simple trading strategies" and save your money

All you need is horizontal levels and patterns. Maybe use fib retracement, RSI and SRSI here and there but everything else is a meme
