I work for a small start up and told them a week into being there that i am non binary. I told them i dislike they/them pronouns and only use xe/xem/xir. On multiple occasions, once in a meeting and once in a COMPANY-WIDE happy bday email i was refered to as “they”. I was also given my own toilet on the second floor when I stated to hr i prefer using the female toilets. They didnt say it but i know it has to do with being a biological male and dressing the part (short hair, mens clothes etc).
I have never felt so low and disrespected. Should i file another complaint with hr or is there legal action i whould take at this point?

while i was at lunch less than a month ago an old coworker used to term homo while talking about somthing to me not kboeing im bi with a bf i called him out on the spot, instead of walkong back his comment he doubled down and i told him how disgusted i was with him this 60somthing year old man threatened me a late 20somthing saying he wanted to smack me.
i could have killed him then and there in the lunchroom with my bare hands. instead i saved him a tragic death and went to hr who then agreed his comments were wrong and laid bare before him tge fact that at that point if i wanted to i could have him fired and he could lose his retirement so late in the game.

If someone says they identify with a different gender, they're not saying that they wish they were a man with a vagina or a woman with a penis. So why is it important to be called and acknowledged as a different gender? Because they think genders should be treated differently. So in a way it's actually perpetuating inequality between the genders.
