How long do I need to stay at a job?

I got laid off in May and started a new job in July. Not really a fan of it and I want to find another job making more.

You could quit now, if you did I would recommend just omitting this current job from your work history to not seem like a flake and make up some personal issues story about why you had to leave early / not work for a couple months. No big deal.

Half a year at least. Everything else looks shitty, but then again...if you can explain why and what...basically nobody cares.

They would fire you if you weren't working out from them. Why wouldn't you fire them if they aren't working out for you?

Being a serial jobhopper looks bad, yes, but there's nothing wrong with leaving a job quickly if it's not what you're looking for. Just don't do it every fucking time because that'll just mean you don't know what you want.

Plus, employees who don't like their jobs tend to be shitty employees, so you're doing them a favor. Whether you want to stick around until you have something else lined up or quit now is up to you and your financials, but either way go for it.

This OP, as long as you have a story and are advancing into higher positions instead of doing lateral moves for 5% extra income nobody will mind.

So if I bail at the start of the year for a better paying gig I'm solid?

Obviously. People only want to hear a good story. Give them a reason and you are solid af

ex recruiter here. as long as you don't do it twice in a row and have a good reason for doing it once it doesn't matter.

This, and you'll have more money to invest.
Ignore NEETs, they're useless faggots that will be poor forever.
>>11249129
I don't think it matter much. Just use a good excuse for why you left the old job
