I want to believe but I don't see why this matters. Sharded ETH will have WASM and won't need this to connect to other chains API's.

Kind of feel like this is its fair value desu. I really like the team but I don't see this being needed down the road as a dev.

AION isn't just for trustless transfer of data and logic between public blockchains like ETH and NEO, but it's a protocol that can be used even with trusted/private blockchains.

There will be a world with both many public blockchains and private blockchains, and sometimes we want to facilitate data+value transfer between them

For example, a private chain run by TSX doesn't want ALL their info accessible publicly, but may want to control or allocate specific data for those purposes

AION allows this.
