I will summarize:
What the Tomo team did was create a new version of sharding that no one has even thought of.
"Each shard/subgroup only stores a portion of the whole blockchain"
Think of this as sharding that overlaps, the sidechains will all work together so each shard will be doing on part of the work. Thus it's not only secure but also able to achieve extremely high TPS

So overall they have a better alternative to Zilliqa.. which has a pretty large market cap

What will cause this to moon is projects moving over to the tomochain. ALL tokens/contracts on the ethereum is compatable and can easily be swapped onto tomochain once it's live in 2 months. There are so many Dapps that process thousands of transactions and honestly are not going to want to pay the ethereum fees and risk clogging (higher fees). In my opinion, the moon will come with adoption when tokens/developers on ether realize the efficiency of tomochain

Is this old? They mention Zilliqas issue as being unable to support smartcontracts but Zilliqa has already successfully implemented them about a month ago.
