I have seen threads about Nano and I am worried about the near total lack of rebuttal(s) from the Nano community. Arguments against Nano seem solid, albeit some hyperbole, but the nano crowd more or less only produces nonsense and verbal abuse, instead of actually trying to to debunk the devastating claims against Nano (if true). Here are some of them:

>>11194543
>>11194689

1. So, is Nano a scam coin?
2. If yes, what to buy? Stellar? https://www.quora.com/Which-is-the-best-crypto-currency-to-buy-in-September-2018
3. Is there a way to trade Nano OTC?

What does the aggregated wisdom of /biz/ say?

1. Yes

Check out the website nimiq.com. Make a wallet in the safe there and see for yourself how smooth it is. Most info is also on there.
If you have questions, join the official Discord, it's a lot better than the telegram.

1: No. It is an open source project. Anybody can read the code and see if it's a scam or not.

2:....

3: I don't undersant this question since you can simply trade any coin OTC. If you are asking if there is a platform that makes it easier to do, there is, it's called localnanos,

nobody answers that faggot anymore because it's useless, he keeps spamming the same shit even if it's debunked, each time copy pasting even more FUD bullshit and making grow into a massive wall of text, making it unviable to keep answering all of them, that's why people gave up. 1. Scam is distribution, false claims about 7000 TPS, pumped by Italian scammers, any involvement of Nano devs and Bitgrail that is not disclosed etc etc
2.
3. With OTC I mean ability to trade large quantities that would otherwise tank or spike the market due to low liquidity.

I have seen repeated claims that it has been debunked, but every time when asked about where and when, the claimant just disappear or hurl verbal abuse. That is worrisome, to put it mildly, so where can I find all his points debunked?

Why would Nano do any better than, say, Stellar?
https://www.quora.com/Which-is-the-best-crypto-currency-to-buy-in-September-2018/answer/Marius-Kramer
And why are these kind of unfounded predictions from very hyped up and over-optimistic Nano bag holders presented as some kind of argument? Wouldn't it be better to try to substantiate such claims, instead of just stating them?

No, but the fact that Bomber knew he was fucked and nano team knew it was fucked as well is enough for me to tie them together. Fuck nano, fuck bit, fuck bomber. And anoyone who says nano team didn't knew is a lying piece of shit, they were approached by merca and what was that other exchange it was traded on, livecoin(?) and those two actually frozen nano withdrawals at the time.

The Nano community hasn't been able to debunk anything. Whenever a thread is posted criticising Nano, they flood in like mosquitoes just spewing garbage. Things like 'FUD!!!!' or 'F**k off!' or 'I can't be bothered to read all that text! but it's lies!' or ' I can debunk, but I won't'

Honestly retarded.

it's true, the reason it was made to be so big was made people not want to read and answer all of that trash. biz doesn't influence the market enough to be worth the trouble, specially when it's related to nano. time will tell who was right

Not biz in itself, but information tend to spread from biz to the rest of the market, especially when you have new information that is unanswered. To say that it's too much information so not a single point can be answered makes no sense at all. Only idiots don't bother to gather information and analyse when investing. This does not look good, at all...

Let me explain the scam to you:
>final product is totally useless in the real world
>worth anthing

The simple truth is that it doesnt matter how scamy the devs. are or anybody else is. The project is worthless in any case. No matter how little I pay for these shitcoins its always too much and I thus always get scamed.

Also:
>IoT is just a meme

>>11228254

So you have no evidence at all then? Pretty sure they arrested the guy responsible for the bitgrail debacle.

Almost all this fud centers around Bitgrail and the TPS.

TPS is infinitely scalable, but you need infinite computing power to reach it. You would have to rent a supercomputer to prove it. I guess no one has bothered yet.

Bitgrail is a separate company. Its like calling bitcoin a scam because of mt gox. While bitgrail was a shitshow that had very little to do with nano itself.

Except that multiple threads where the questions were posted more individually instead of in barrages, they got answers. Also, they have all been asked multiple times in the nano plebbit, and answered again and again. Any semi serious """investors""" could google a few and check for themselves. I'm only going to link an answer the very first question, about the TPS and not going to spoonfeed you faggots any more than that. You can search for yourself if you want more than that.

No, you have physical restrictions in the real world. What predictions and testing have the Nano team done?

>> No.11229468

>>11229397
Your link does not address the 7000 TPS claim and how Nano will compete with VISA and other currencies in the future. Your link stated that there were problems for the nodes already around 700+ TPS and that there are real limitations regarding hardware etc, not infinite as so often falsely stated by Nano advocates.

>> No.11229492

>>11229468
>address the 7000 TPS claim
Because that was a theoretical calculation that an user did ages ago of what it could potentially achieve eventually, which was never actually stated or defended by the devs. And people have stopped using that as a reference for ages everywhere except on biz

>> No.11229509

>>11229451
They did a user generated stress test that reached 700tps. It could have likely done much more if more people showed up.

>Except that multiple threads where the questions were posted more individually instead of in barrages, they got answers.
All I ever get is claims, but no documentation or substantiating of these claims. If true, it should be very easy to link to these articles, comments, documentation etc, not just hurl verbal abuse, as has been the modus operandi. Also, Nano subreddit has a habit of banning people asking reasonable questions. Investors post crash are looking more into the tech now, and some projects shine, while others fade away. Unless Nano starts to answer some questions, there will be no future for Nano. As a Nano bagholder, I will be really happy if I can see these questions answered, but quit frankly, what I see reminds me more of deflection than anything else.

A straight up lie. Lot of criticism has been posted there and stayed, with no deleting or banning. Even I have posted literal FUD there in the past and never got banned
