at this point I have nothing left to lose. I am gonna apply to jobs, but my CV has a gap all the way from 2012. Give me some ridiculous but plausible jobs I can lie about on my resume in between 2012-2018. I am gonna apply for some management positions, if they fall for it, great, if not, who cares...still getting Neetbux for now.

Forget applying to corporates or medium sized businesses. They wouldn’t even look at your CV. Your best shot is to target small businesses that have less than <100 employees. But be prepared to work at slave wages

Buy burners, make up personas that can vouch for you. Act, or get friends to help you out. This all takes a bit of planning though. Be careful though, dont make up some ceo positions with this shit, if youve worked as a farmhand or helped out in a store for a few years in the middle of nowhere whos gonna check that shit out.

Say you had the idea to travel for two years then come 2014 with that out of your system you would come back to work on your career. However at that point, a close family member became gravely I'll, and you spent 3 years caring for them. Don't go into any detail, they will feel uncomfortable and you don't want them to ask questions that could blow your story.
Then say for the final year you needed to recharge your batteries. After 3 years if sleepless night and wiping asses you had to regroup before jumping back into the workforce.
And voila! Here you are! Keen and eager to prove you have what it takes.

Really good suggestion. OP should say he's spent some time day trading. That he's enjoyed it, it paid the bills, and while he would like to continue, he wants to get back out there and get a regular pay cheque.

Thanks, well I just created something on the go. Some random jobs, some random education path, along with my ex's company, who is cool with me being a IT consultant and team leader of one of his most recent start ups. Then I did a 1 hour IQ test and a 1 hour capacity test on this bullshit job agency web site. I applied to 7 decent looking jobs. Get called for one almost immediately after, and they tell me that I am over qualified. They'll look further and be in contact....did I fuck it up already? Just keep going right?
