How long would it take to get above 700? Idk if the FICO score is just like the Vantage score, but I just started building credit. Took out a credit builder loan and applied for a few credit cards. My score is about 650 right now but I have very limited credit history.

I know someone who payed off the 2k in student loans he graduated with in a single payment and saw his score drop 80 points because MUH AVERAGE ACCOUNT AGE.

It’s a retarded system where you can only maintain a consistently high score by perpetually being in debt.

no, I'm in Poland and if you have 3 months worth of rent for a security deposit it's enough to rent anywhere.
Nobody asks about your job or checks your credit.
I am 28 and was literally never in debt, no credit history and zero problems.
If you have bad credit score you won't get things like mobile subscription though and have to rely on prepaid. Prepaid offers are usually much better anyway, better competition.
If you have no credit score they ask for pay slips.
Mobile subscription is literally the only normal thing that does that I think.

it's only sick if you actually pay interest. Otherwise, you actually make money from it

Only if you're an idiot who doesn't know how to use it responsibly (which I'll grant is most people). If you're ever paying interest or making purchases that you can't immediately pay off you'll never make it. I use my credit card for pretty much everything though and pay it off every month. It's both convenient and has built-in fraud/theft protection. I also get points.

kek, i can't open 10 at once bro. The only cards that I'm approved for right now are a Kohl's card (the guy at the counter helped me lie to get it - $300 limit) and a secured card ($200 limit). Every other card I've applied to I just get rejected.
