I'll begin with a recent one
>19th of September
>open a short on Bitmex at 6320 with 25x leverage
>places stop loss at 6350
>also got a trailing stop loss ready at 40 points
>the massive dump commences
>euphoria as the ROE% increases at record speed, orderbook rushes past liquidation orders and /biz/ gets spammed with pink wojaks
>it bottoms near 6000
>"heh, I guess it has only just begun
>huge buy wall appears, wiping out the entire orderbook back to 6300 even faster
>suddenly realize I forgot to place the trailing stop loss
>then my heart stops: there's no stop loss active at all, as if there was some error when I clicked the button
>orderbook flies past 6340
>FUCK FUCK
>spams market buy but I just get a message that the system is overloaded
>market nears liquidation price
>eventually the market buy goes through but I am down 70% from what I shorted with
