How much money can I afford to lose on bad investments before it stops seeming like an endearing quirk and starts being legitimately sad?

The majority of crypto "investors" are pathetic.

It's ok fail.
It's ok to make a bad bet.
It's ok to do your research, develop a hypothesis, make a decision based on the evidence you have available, and for it all to blow up in your face.
Any worthwhile investment will involve some sort of risk. Choosing to not take any risks will earn you a life of wagecuckery.

That being said, hanging on to a bad investment indefinitely is dumb as fuck.
Treating crypto like a religion that will save you from your life of poverty is sad.
Throwing money at shit without any exit plan is retarded.
