Meh the more time goes on the less it’s looking like a descending triangle. Descending triangles barely ever make it to the end/apex and now we’re basically sitting at the apex. Not to mention it’s really looking like it’s actually lower lows and lower highs which makes it look like the first half of a cup. You could argue that the dip down to $6k in Feb was one of the bottoms in the triangle, but it kind of wasn’t. It didn’t even really test the support, it jumped back up within a day.

Sideways movement followed by gradual increase seems much more likely at this point and that’s what BTC did in the past as well so I’m banking on that move currently

You may be right. It’s not impossible for it to creep towards the apex before breaking. But you also have to consider that even if it is a descending triangle, they only break downward about 64% of the time and still runs a risk of reversing directly after even if it does if there’s not sufficient volume which I doubt there would be considering the massive number of short positions that are already open prior to $6100-6200.

It still looks like the bottoms are curving more than anything imo though
