ITT: Druggies trying to cope with their shit reality

The only acceptable drugs are alcohol and weed but only if you're smoking it on the weekends or a couple times a month. As someone who used to smoke pot everyday for 10 years I regret it. Has it made me a terrible person? No. Has it ruined my life? No. Has it made me unsuccessful and complacent? No. However it has ruined my ability to be succinct when arguing or talking about topics with people in real life. I am significantly better at writing and I have found over the past few years that to truly explain something to someone I need to write about it and then talk about it.

Those words that sit on the tip of your tongue you just can't seem to remember to finish your sentence. Sometimes forgetting the point you are making while arguing something. Speaking faster than you are thinking so you trip up on your words.

Life sucks for 99% of people so I understand why people do drugs but the negative side effects are real just as much as the positive ones.

Weed can have something to do but I don't think you need weed to experience anything you just described. It is a lot easier to write than to just say something complexe and articulated from the top of your head because you can think about it when you write and just go over what you just wrote.
Being good at talking is very difficult and it requires much practice and it is much easier to tell when you really know what you are talking about or if you wrote about it, like you said, which make you know what you are talking about.
