How can an ERC-20 token which only works on on Ethereum token be "blockchain agnostic"?

You realise your tokens are useless on any other network right?

>> No.11111545

Yeah, here's the thing. Everyone says that Chainlink is big because it allows all those ERC-20 shitcoins to fulfill their promises
But then when you mention how shitty Ethereum actually is, they say "Oh but LINK is blockchain agnostic"
Yeah but I can't imagine a future where a smart contracts platform overtakes Ethereum that doesn't have its own built in oracles.

Chainlink software (aka the actual Oracle) will be blockchain agnostic. The token runs on ethereum.

Token economies don't work because they are intrinsically unstable, imagine FORCING a token economy for your shittoken to work lmao

Link has no chance

"smart contracts platform overtakes Ethereum that doesn't have its own built in oracles"

Your an idiot.

If they can be built into smartcontracts then why have oracles at all? The whole point of a separate, decentralized oracle bringing data to the smartcontract is to deter bad actors. You cant do that if smartcontracts have "built in oracles".

Biz is filled with idiots like this OP. If your gonna start a thread and claim something at least do your research. As it was stated before.

Yes.

Sergey even fucking admits this. They were trying to get people to want to use crypto, and no one wanted to. He made a fucking cryptocurrency at the height of a bubble. This is just another dumb attempt at a project by a guy who has failed at every other stupid project he has previously attempted. People here still talking about a 60th ranked shitcoin cryptocurrency like they've got a mil ticket. How are people here so fucking retarded??

Another full blow idiot.

1. Smartcontract creators must pay node owners in LINK
2. Smartcontract creators will use nodes that contain proportionate value of LINK within the node.

These two will drive the value of LINK. It is not a "forced economy". it is a necessity.

Not only will LINK transactional value increase due to the mass adoption of smartcontracts. there is financial incentive to stake massive amounts of LINK to attract high value smartcontracts such as derivative, bonds, real estate...etc. We are talking about node owners staking enough link with value to equate into the 10s of millions.

edit

2. Smartcontract creators will use nodes that contain proportionate value of LINK that is comparable to the value of the smartcontract.

link token itself is just for payment/collateral, the whole network will be able to transfer data to whatever blockchain you want.

Brainlet like you think that the token itself is gonna magically do everything and therefore needs its own blockchain (as if there wasn't enough already)? you're retarded, it's about people running many nodes
