Put up or shut time for longs on RTI. Shorts moved sell wall down to 1 cent above current price. Yank it down or capitulate please. I am tired of this thing being stuck in limbo. Make me money or stop me out. Go.

Trying to lowball HVT warrants at the moment. They're down -14% from yesterday's close and i'm aiming to buy in at -18%-25% somewhere in there. These have an acceleration clause but it's way beyond current range of the commons and also requires vwap to hold the high for 10 consecutive days. Acceptable low risk.

i will never buy "the 'x' of china"
nor should anyone else who values their money
there are a few reasons, like the fact that such companies are usually set up directly by the CCP, calling the validity of everything they say/report into serious question

second is how they are shilled is most of the time misleading.
we have very little info on these chinese companies from the actual chinese, and every so often well get one who sneaks through the firewall and tells us, BILI a shit no one uses, JD is fucked and irrelevant, or that one little gem where some chinese guy told us that the majority of the public in china is against their own stock markets due to how manipulated it is.

no my fren, the point is very simple:
>frens dont let frens buy chink ripoff companies

if you actually look into it past "the 'x' of china" meme, and honestly like what you see, go for it, just beware the govt makes and reports those numbers and the fine print is in mandarin. enjoy being RICE'd on the next dollar spike

Market is rigged to the upside right now. It's largely an artificial mess, but it's one you can profit on by having a long bias. You can even make money shorting, but the odds are stacked against you in a way they weren't historically. If the overall "market forces" stop caring about the ways the government and fed is rigging it though, the entire system is going to blow the fuck apart in an unprecedented way. Of course they'll do everything they can to keep you from shorting it, which will only make its detonation more jarring and severe. That whole weird air of ominousness that has persisted since the global financial crisis isn't a coincidence. The whole rise of "feeling like we're in a simulation" is gaining popularity because we basically are.

Human behavior and attitudes are reflecting the subtleties of our economic and cultural reality. People like Trump don't get elected as president when everything is working according to plan and that's not meant to be offensive to anyone who voted for him. People are at their core right now are largely desperate, scared, apathetic, hopeless, angry, etc. and they have every right to be. Everything is being controlled to Hell and back to keep the market doing what it's "supposed to be doing," (as defined by the people that fucked it all up) but everyone in the know is nervous and everyone not in the know just has a feeling something is amiss. Make your money on the longs now, enjoy life, and maybe the reckoning won't be as severe when it happens, or if it is, at least you'll have had fun leading up to it and your skills will definitely serve you in the wreckage and rebirth.

It held itself through the 08 crisis if you had iron hands, and long term the ideal leverage for SP500 is somewhere between 2-3x. What they don't tell you is how much you lose when those options don't expire worthless and how much those other guys make. I've noticed this happens a lot in society. They throw out win rates and loss rates, but they almost never examine what you make when you win and what you lose when you don't. There's this gross misunderstanding of expectancy, skew, and kurtosis. You see the same thing in trading and entrepreneurship. "over 90% of them lose! flee! flee for your lives!" But some people have to win...and of those people that win, many of them make multitudes of the fortunes they stood to lose. It's odd.

Here. These are the quotes in question from Papa Buffet. Read and understand and rember:

>I call investing the greatest business in the world … because you never have to swing. You stand at the plate, the pitcher throws you General Motors at 47! U.S. Steel at 39! and nobody calls a strike on you. There's no penalty except opportunity lost. All day you wait for the pitch you like; then when the fielders are asleep, you step up and hit it.

>The stock market is a no-called-strike game. You don't have to swing at everything — you can wait for your pitch. The problem when you're a money manager is that your fans keep yelling, "Swing, you bum!"

this quote if you really understand it will make you more money than anything else in these threads. just like the dollar cost averaging guy is anxious to start. sitting at the plate and waiting for the pitch that yells "SWING NOW WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT" takes patience, diligence, and the ability to ignore the nagging doubt that you're missing out. most people can't do that so most are suited to dollar cost averaging to relieve their anxiety

There's two ways to look at this. You can fight through the anguish and hopefully become more psychologically resilient over time as you fight through more and more of these types of things or you can just take a break for a few days until you feel enthusiastic about trading again. Getting good at trading is an insanely agonizing process. It's bad enough sucking at anything, but it's even worse when sucking at it costs you money and all you have to go on is faith that you'll eventually get better enough that you'll start making money. You keep coming to the market every day, getting the shit kicked out of you, maybe picking up a little money here and there and then when it's all over...you have to show up the next day, and the next, and the next. It's like stepping into a ring with a professional fighter and having them show zero mercy on you as a way to learn to fight. So your options are you keep fighting or you take a break, then come back and keep fighting. It's fun in a sick way.

Fat chance

Besides, a funny fact: the shares you buy are most likely those of a shell company incorporated in the Cayman Island (of the BVI). This shell company in turn is related to the parent company in China.

Yeah.

It has fast track/canadian equivalent approval for it's med products, and has had plans for retail distribution of otc marijuana wellness supplements since last year. It's ultra cheap right now, and i think it may spike a bit with dude weed legalization, but I genuinely think the otc marijuana wellness supplement market is barely tapped/lucrative. This is coming from someone with a ton of chronic health problems everyone recommends dude weed for, even though it doesn't help.

Think of all the zoomers convincing grandma that some cbd cream is gonna help their rheumatoid arthritis.

Relative to potential, yes. However it has run a whole lot in recent weeks and may drop pretty hard in near future, like tomorrow or power hour today kinda soon.

I also have CWEB (Charlotte's Web Holdings) up at the top of my watchlist right now for the OTC supplement CBD market play. I want to see more pullback or a period of consolidation to establish some kind of support first before biting. All it has done to date is shoot straight up since listing on September 7th then pulled back today. So, soon? Maybe?

Except it does not actually double/triple gains over the long term due to DAILY leverage. What happens with leveraged ETFs if S&P drops 10% in 1 day and then goes up 11% the next day to break even? If you say the ETF breaks even as well you’re wrong and should not be investing in these ETFs.
