You can get pic related, even with a toilet and shower inside for under $50,000. If you build it yourself you could squueze it under $30,000 probably. Is this the cheapest and most redpilled way to live? Just travel the world and stick it to the housing jews?

can you run an ac on solar power? they're power hungry as fuck

>> No.11049905

>>11049887
on battery, but a van has a huge space on top so you can have a big solar panel and won't have any issues powering AC and a fridge during summer. but in winter you might have to charge the batteries somewhere once a week or so, depending on the size and sunlight you'd be getting

how much watts do you think would be necessary for the solar kit?
they're quite pricey, but overall less than a house of course.

motorhomes are expensive as fuck and they are a chore, you have to find special parking spots and those are usually paid and expensive as fuck, in a van you can park anywhere a car can park

>> No.11050005

I think A/C in a van takes like 1000-1500W so you would need a 1500W solar panel to have it powered constantly and I think on the biggest vans you could easily fit a 1500W panel but I think 700-1000W would be more than enough with only running the A/C to cool the van and then turn it off until it gets hot again

These vans are pretty sturdy and if that happened it takes like a week or two to have the van fixed, you surely must have friends or family that would let you live with them for the short time your home is not available.

the rated power is only for "optimal conditions" tho, plus you still need more power for fridge and electronics at least.

>> No.11050147

>>11050104
a small fridge is like 50W and I bet the van ones are optimized to be even less than that
charging a phone is barely anything, like 3W
laptop would consume a bit more but I still think it would all run just fine off a 1000W panel
