If you are not all in on XLM, you are really fucking up.

Benefits of Stellar:

- ICOs
- Smart-contracts
- IBM running the world-wide network nodes and shilling Stellar
- Stellar consensus protocol: 1000s tx / second (global scale)
- Inflation distributed weekly to those who own XLM (https://lumenaut.net/))

Recent News:

- Chain acquired | We Inter/stellar now (https://interstellar.com/))
- Stellar now has 2x USD "Stablecoins" that are FDIC insured banks
- Stellar (((Sharia))) compliant; paves way for oil futures, etc
- Coinbase likely to add XLM | A Rival Insitutional-Tier Crypto NY-Licensed Market is already doing it (ItBit)
- Official SDEX Launching: www.stellarx.com | beta.stellarx.com (sign up here)

Upcoming Events:

- Lightning Network mainnet, 01 OCT
- Lightning Network LIVE, 01 DEC

Stellar Programs:

- StellarX (SDEX - Zero Fees)
- Kelp (Trading bot for SDEX)
- Sequence (Tokenize financial assets)
- Starlight (Lightning)

SDEX Capability:

- Stellar enables arbitrary extensions of the “tether” idea, meaning you can digitize any off-chain asset—pork futures or Zcash or SkyMiles or USD or whatever—and the protocol itself will handle redemption and compliance. Stellar therefore unifies disjoint economies (and blockchains) into a single market.

Why XLM actually has value/utility:

- XLM is Asset-to-Asset bridge exchanging anything-for-anything on the SDEX; it is the universal base asset, ideal for atomic swaps

The list below will be fully operational by year end, ask yourself the price of XLM by then:

>stealth IBM projects ["We haven't announced anything yet but it includes regulated financial institutions in a whole bunch of other jurisdictions," said Lund.]
>central bank digital currency (singapore most likely first)
>fairx
>stellarx
>coinbase
>coinbase etf effect
>keybase
>lightning
>lightyear partnerships

Why are you still buying shitcoins (that are securities) with no growth again, nigger?

We know what lightning means. the question is whether or not xlm will be the primary lightning unit.

if you were the central bank of Japan and you needed a high volume, high frequency payment corridor to the US central bank, would you accept a USD pegged asset that only the US central bank could issue/rescind?
what if you wanted to increase the value of the channel? what if you wanted to remove the asset from the channel?

i take your point; but I dont see anything that can keep out an "invasive" coin. What if Ripple wants to anchor its 100 billion on Stellar as a potential bridge asset.

The danger of Stellar is that it can literally onboard any crypto and literally any asset, gold, oil, land, buildings, etc.

if ripple anchors its xrp to xlm, who controls the price of xrp? how can a bank which can print fiat change the nominal price of an asset like xlm specifically?
what conditions are necessary for a state channel with utility?

>> No.11028744

>>11028716
price of xrp is market price; just like xlm

the benefit of using xlm I suppose is that a lot of it is available for ostensibly a cheap price today instead of a year from now

lets say you are a cb
you want 50bn payment channel
in exchange for 100bn needed you can purchase that amount xlm simply by issuing your own asset on the ledger
your asset is the most safe asset as it is backed by the issuing bank of the country needing the channel
this is what people mean when they say universal asset liquidity layer
if you are anything that needs liquidity you can issue the assets that you need on stellar and open channels denominated in xlm and transact on them privately nearly free forever
how much do you think everybody pays for liquidity now
central banks?
commercial banks?
investment banks?
brokers?
see where this goes?

i see your point, but i guess i am still not clear on the role of the cb
i heard from my bank, that when wiring cash to coinbase, that it actually goes to like the treasury or some shit and then it goes to coinbase; so if true, the money flows through US central bank institution effectively

i wonder if this is what is going in in singapore who will likely be the first central bank.
singapore puts their tokenized money on the network, but the cb isnt doing any business, some other organization in singapore with customers is using taking some chinks money they earned in singapore and sending it to china.
china doesnt have storefront xlm/yuan anchors so the chink still wants yuan sent back home
a large portion of XLM is needed IF the chink in china doesnt want singapore money; they want yuan

Absolutely I agree.
and that's why I held stellar.
After learning the Chris Larsen sits on the board of the IMF and doing my own due diligent research, objectively at this point, XRP is a much better investment than xlm.
So I market sold and bought Ripple instead.

the cripple bag holder is retarded

I'm not a bagholder. I literally just bought it.
I get the feeling from my research I have a lot more to gain from XRP than xlm moving forward. I could be wrong. I don't think I am.
as for the IMF, are you retarded? I know exactly what they do.
And you're damn right I'm betting on jews, and big banks.
I hate em but I hope they make me money.

XRP is going to be huge in the next few years. The writing is on the wall. Currently it costs 8 cents more than xlm.

I'm not saying xlm won't increase in price, it absolutely will.
XRP is the better buy RIGHT NOW.
