so i got a coin base account got some eth and got some coins. ive been picking up 10-20% trading but my binance account has less money than before. what the fuck am i doing wrong ? help a brainlet out

That is because ETH value is tanking. The trade pair is HOT/ETH, so one hot is worth 600 vitaliks, if the ETH price swing your portfolio value will also swing even if HOT price in vitaliks are the same.

That is what I just said, what moved wasnt the price of holo but eth. Say for instance one hot was worth 0.01 eth and you had 100 which equals to 1 eth worth of holo. If eth is worth 100 or 1000 is what dictates your portfolio value. I know this is a mess but will change pretty soon when we have only fiat pairs.
