It's now clear Ethereum has failed as a platform for hosting decentralized applications and BTC will reign as king blockchain for store of value and ledger transaction processing with the arrival of Lightning Network.

There is limited real world usage on all these blockchain projects except for speculation activity. The fight is now between Holochain, Hashgraph & Dfinity for bringing mass adoption of dApps and distributed computation power. The privacy implications are becoming a hot topic to world leaders (GDPR, European privacy laws, Facebook senate inquires) and Fortune 500 companies are starting to decentralize their systems for maximum efficiency, lowering costs and allowing citizens to "own" their data. Holochain has the arms of Mozilla for support. Firefox is the third leading browser in the world, after Chrome and Apple Safari (due to iPhones).

It seems clear no other project on CoinMarketCap will reach such a massive audience once Holochain becomes a protocol/platform embedded into Firefox, opening the dApp market to hundreds of millions of net citizens. For the first time, people will be able to goto the Holo dApp store and install distributed apps, send/receive currencies and have them converted through the browser (via Binance/ Holo DEX), take part in ICOs and become token holders and get paid in HOLO tokens for hosting distributed content, all from the relative comfort of their client browser. We are at the dawn of a new era.

At the launch of the iPhone on 29, June 2007, many thought it was going to fail as the Blackberry was untouchable, but the mere fact it had the first easy to use touchscreen interface quickly made it become the number #1 selling tech accessory and ultimately led Apple from near bankruptcy to becoming the first trillion dollar company.
