Monero is a currency that is meant to be used for transactions why would u ever spend monero if it was a speculative asset? Basically same issue bitcoin had before it was rebranded as a store of value. Since monero actually works, I don’t see how it will drastically rise in price it is not a speculative asset, it will fluctuate with the market relatively but it will never be a market leader, as seen in the last bull run where it underperformed compared to almost everything else.
