I ignored HOT because it's an obvious bullshit pnd with 100 trillion supply.
But after the pump it primed me to look into it.

This is Skycoin on AIDS x 100. There is no secure consensus algorithm for determining whether a transaction is valid or not. Meaning this whole thing is based on bullshit. There's no proof that this is even secure.
And when you think about what type of consensus algorithm they could possibly come up with, it's easy to see where this is going to get sybil attacked to death.
With no global consensus, why not just spoof 10,000 nodes into the system, have them all claim your transactions are valid?
Whichever mechanism they choose for locally determining if your transaction is valid, mathematicians are going to hack this to death.
If they choose nodes randomly, with so many of your nodes in the system they're going to pick yours probably. and if your nodes say its valid, great you made free money.
Even if you fail the first time, you can repeat this process an indefinite number of times until eventually your spam nodes are probabilistically picked.

The run up lately has been due to Mozilla and associates acquiring HOLO tokens. Once they have finished acquiring there will be partnership announcements near or after mainnet launch. I did look into the tech and connections. I’m a mathematician by trade. Holochain’s tech does not have sound math and is therefore not currently secure. So I looked into the team. They hired a math grad student with zero experience to fix their math. The rest of the team is filled with people whose last “jobs” were internships or fake/failed companies. Some of them haven’t actually worked in decades. This is not to say that people won’t make a lot of money on it. Like Tron, in the current market all you need is hype to moon. But as of now this is about as shitcoin as anything gets and it is REALLY fishy that there are people like you lauding the tech and connections where both are lower tier than the vast majority of options out there. I hope you guys make some money but personally I wouldn’t touch this. Eventually it’s going to dump and never recover, right now this is just a game of hot potato.
