Who else here dusting of his resume and trying to come up with bullshit to fill his NEET crypto gap between 2013-2018.

I have friends with their own companies so I just put in those. But I am not sure what I should be aiming at. If I am bullshitting my resume, should I bullshit myself into a managers position? Or am I aiming too high here.

I applied to a grocery store nearby and got nothing.

One of the checkout clerks told me straight-up that they're very short-handed now and I should apply again. But I still think the manager wants nothing to do with me.

TFW the OP doesn't understand that those who started crypto in 2013 are still millionaires even after yesterdays crash.

I lived off BTC all the way from 2013, never had more than 12 BTC, now I am around 2 BTC. Not watching charts all day, cashed out a fairly significant amount, used it well. Funded a startup in December which is launching their product in February.

of course there are millionaires. But NEET's like me had to spend most of their Cypto on monthly expenses for 5 years. Had I been holding I would be fine, but then again I wouldn't have had 5 years of being a NEET. I envy those who had a job for the past 5 years and accumulated more and more.

I feel like I have the fucking Mark of Cain on me. Anyone who's in a position to hire me, they look more disgusted with me the longer I talk to them. I might as well be walking into stores with actual shit running down my leg; my natural autism gives off the same odor.

how do I avoid this? Walk in, ask for the Manager and hand him my resume? Maybe slip him 10$?

Gave up on finding anything better since no retail place wants my ugly ass, and I can listen to music and get drunk while tutoring.

It's a meme that boomers tell you, but it does work often enough with mcjobs since many managers are too lazy to sift through online applications.

Do you think that you don't present well for some reason? Identifying the problem is the first step to solving it

Well definitely make up lies. For instance, engineering kids I know would claim to be vice president of an engineering club they were only a regular member of. Just lie as long as you don't get caught. Also, get some confidence; people can sense low self-esteem.
