Since the transaction history is in a DHT, it means that no one can actually audit the history because DHT will faill consistently on 2% of the data items in a adversarial situation.

Holochain has no chain. And no supply cap. And no automatic dispute resolution procedure (consensus).

It would be better to just use a network of webservers passing IOUs for monopoly money. It would be simplier and work better.

Holochain would function better if they used a currency like Bitcoin, instead of holo. It would simplify everything and make sense.

There does not appear to be a reason for holofuel to exist.

If holo was implemented as described in the white paper and actually worked, the nodes would be exit scamming left and right.

You just run a service and then bots to use your services, running on your own nodes. Then you dump the holo fuel. Or you build up reputation and credit and then exit scam by withdrawling all your fuel and dumping it for bitcoin.

1. You can't use bots to generate holofuel dipshit, cause that would imply you actually bought that holofuel and paid yourself for hosting. You'd be exit scaming your own money.
2. You could probably use bots (by paying with your own money/holofuel) to increase your reputation. Now lets say you have a repuation and can generate holofuel on credit to sell it for the promise of future hosting. You decide to exit scam insted. The holofuel that you can generate for future hosting is a fraction of what you spent to increase your reputation and a fraction of the money you can generate in a month by just being a legit host. Basically you spent a fuckton of your own money and wasted many months just so you can exit scam a fraction of that money. Now let's say you actually managed to find a way to increase your reputation by spending your own money and most of that holofuel went back to you, so technically can exit scam at a profit. Now we go to our next point.
3. All the hosts require KYC. Enjoy jail.

Now let's sum up your master plan here:
>spend thousands of dollars on hosting hardware
>buy holofuel with your own money
>use bots that spend holofuel to increase your reputation
>your reputation could probably increase in around 6 months, thus allowing you to "exit scam"
>"oh wait, I spent thousands of dollars on hardware and if I exit scam now I'll end up holding bags of shit"
>wait another 2-3 years to cover the costs of the hardware

So there are 2 things here, either you can earn holofuel or holofuel is useless because its not necessary for anything, it has no usecase, there is no circular economic and it will just be stagnant and holo org will reap the rewards of the retards buying it

yeah, that's Holochain right there, not Holo. If all goes well, at some point in the future (decades from now) the entire internet will run on holochain and every user will also be a host. Until that happens you have Holo that bridges holochain apps to the internet. In a future where Holo is replaced by native holochain apps and EVERYONE is a host, Holo becomes useless. If we ever reach that point, years before this "flippening" happens, the value of holofuel will literally be trillions of dollars because it will be backed by the entire computational power of the planet.

Let me explain it to you in brainlet terms:
Stage 1
- devs build apps on holochain but few people use holochain so devs pay the hosts so that the apps can be accessed through a normal browser and reach the normies

Stage 2
- holochain becomes more popular and many people become hosts
- the ones that are hosts can access holochain apps without incurring a cost on the devs
- there will still be people that won't be hosts in the network and will access apps through a regular browser
- devs still pay for hosting to reach these people
- at this point the value of holofuel is insane because it's backed by a fuckton of computational power in the network

Stage 3
-all the apps in the world run on holochain
-everyone in the world runs holochain and pays his own way (like Matt described)
- Holo becomes irrelevant
