The only way ethereum can work therefore is if ether actually has value. If ether has value, what is the point of 0xbtc? The answer is none except for an inflation hedge.

If I wanted to protect my eth from inflation then I would just put it into an interest bearing smart contract of somesort of convert it to real btc as the eth/btc market is quite liquid, not into a random erc-20 shitcoin.

Then you'll have to learn how to transfer it from the exchange to a supported wallet.
