Why do Americans hate dollar coins? In the EU 1 euro coins are in regular use with no issues. And in Switzerland they even have 5 franc coins.

because they are easier to counterfit. all i need is a small crucible and a blow torch and some bulk zinc and just a little copper to counterfiet a coin. the only reason people don't do it in America is because the coins are essentially worthless. you'd have to counterfeit a lot of quarters and half dollars to make any money.
