Does anyone here have any (long term) experience with Martingale methods/strategies for dice games?

I'm wondering if it's legit. I already tried one of those strategies with one site's own token (it has no value). It seems good so far but I think it's very risky. Has somebody here tried it with real btc?
YouTube is full of those videos where people make good profits.

I tried to make a profit with one of the high risk strategies from the table on here: http://bitcoincasinoreview.site/bitcoin-dice-strategies/
It seems to work out but I think if there is one big losing streak I'd lose everything.
I'd probably have to withdraw every tiny profit to secure it.

Does anyone have a good strategy to use that isn't listed there?

I made some profits...
You definitely have to withdraw every e.g. 0.001 btc profit to a secure wallet to be profitable in the long run. Also I would start with a strategy that‘s not so risky.

You will never truly win in a system where the house has an edge, unless you are cheating. Martingale techniques allow extended play, but if followed optimally lead in the long term to the same result as betting red every time. If you want to make money, build the casino.

I made some good money with my strategy on this site around $4k. I got greedy and impatient and ended up with $800 profit and called it quits. 50,000 bets total in like 2 weeks.

Original strategy: Bet 0.0000001 Ripple. Start martingale with 1 Ripple after a streak of 3 lower than 50 or greater than 50, bet opposite of the streak. With 1024 starting ripple, you only lose after a streak of 13 which is very unlikely. Be warned, I have seen the streak go up to 15. Cash out every time you double your 1024 Ripple and play with the casinos money.

I moved on to Tether after I got bored and ended up losing most of my winnings because I bet extra money on a streak of 14.

I created a program to simulate the game and my strategy doesn't always work so I'm not sure how I was able to get ahead so much.

Also, turn on Eco mode and remove animation or your laptop will be on fire.

Put 1 in your calculator and double it 20 times. You're already over a million. You are guaranteed to see an unlucky streak sooner or later. How many losses in a row can you afford? Martingale is guaranteed to fuck you up over the long run because you do not have an infinite bank balance in order to place the ever increasing bets required to "get back" your initial stake.

You want the leaf to be showing. Animation off. Learn how to use the hotkeys. Once I got the hang of it I'd listen to free online lectures from Yale so even if I lost I wouldn't feel like I wasted my time being unproductive.

Mathematically, you're not supposed to win even if you treat it as conditional probability (removing the bets for 1 and 2 streaks from the total number bets makes 13+ streak more likely). But it worked for me so I thought I'd pass on the info.

>> No.10870355

>>10870134
lets say you have 50/50 chance of winning (usually the house has a 1% edge but we'll ignore for simplicity).
if you roll 20 times, you have a 2.5% chance of losing and a 97.5% chance of winning.
>(1 * 0.5) / 20

If you start with a $1 bet and double your bet each time, by the time you get to the 20th roll, your bet size will now be $1,048,576
>1 * 2^20
Is it worth it? Probably not...

Yeah that‘s it. Everyone says it‘s mathematically impossible but it works sometimes and you can be fine if you withdraw early enough.

Oh and once there is a long streak 9+ I'd make riskier bets on the opposite of the streak after the streak was over for a few bets (starting at 4 or 8 without a 3 streak). The law of averages worked in my favor for those and gave me an edge over the statistics of my original strategy but it is riskier.

You probably did something else because my strategy required being at the screen. The automation doesn't let you reduce your bet after a win like in my martingale strategy.

If I flipped the coin already 12 times in a row to head, the probability will be 50% for head, 50% for tail. What you tell me is: choose tail because we so often had head, so now it is much more likely to get tail again. But dude it isn't. Every flip is 50%.

>> No.10870645

>>10870619
But how likely is the process of flipping the coin 12 times to head? As likely as any other combo. You just have to avoid the combo HHHHHHHHHHHHH vs all the other possibilities.

It doesn't work, profits are too shitty when you lower risk and that lose streak will happen. It's like roulette, it happens that a color doesn't come out 30 times in a row. (source: worked 10 years with roulettes)

Not at all, my strategy requires you to be at your computer hitting space bar for every roll of the minimum bet about. Once theres a streak of 3, then you start betting your 1 ripple. Lose? Bet 2 ripple next. All the way til 512 Ripple. Win? Bet minimum again til next streak.

i actually do, and they dont work.
i used to trade horse races on betfair in the UK. even with a system with an edge the fees/commission will still wipe you out.
martingales fail even when odds are dead even. factor in anything less and you lose exponentially
nasim taleb has written about martingales. you can imagine what he has to say.

>> No.10870787

>>10870269

Dude you made
49.000 flips right?

The odds of flipping a fair coin 13 times to head in a row are: (0.5)^13 = 0.00012207031 seems very unlikely right?

But you also flipped the coin quiet often, so calculate 49.000 * 0.00012207031= 5. 981

This means in your 49.000 flips you - in average get 13 heads in a row around 6 times

That is like getting hit by asteroid. For every person the probability is very low. But because we have a fuck Ron of people some guys will be the unlucky ones to get hit.

So while the low probability makes it seem safe, the number of flips makes the probability go up.

I understand you're not supposed to win and that the NEXT roll doesn't depend on what happened before it. I realized I got lucky and quit while I was ahead because my personal simulations were showing I'd lose. The goal is to try and double your money before a long streak inevitably occurs. I'm looking at the probability a 13 streak happens given a 3 streak happened. As long as it didn't for the first 1024 3 streaks then I'd come out ahead but I calculated and realized I shouldn't come out ahead.

>49.000 * 0.00012207031= 5. 981
Per that calculation, a 3 streak is .125 so 49.000 * .125 = 6125. Subtract the 6 losses and we get 6119. 6119 / 1024 is 5.975. Basically comes out to 50/50 if you don't count the slight house edge. But because I strategized and got lucky I was able to beat the 50/50 and make a slight profit.
You're not supposed to win in blackjack either but some people do and I was lucky enough to be a winner in this case.
