money is a means to an end. period. can it buy you happiness? fuck no. it can definitely afford you freedom to live out your wildest dreams but at the end of the day if you don't at least know how to be happy without money, you won't be happy with it. there's countless rich people in the world who are miserable. that said, living life slaving away and getting peanuts would be fucking shitty so money certainly helps, but it is a means, not an end. anyone who treats money as an end will be doomed to despair.
