Be careful with this. I know from experience that the reason companies who are stuck in the last decade is because the older heads feel threatened by what they don’t understand. Get a feel for the culture, identify people of influence who will be sympathetic to the changes you wish to make, then act.

You still might get blackballed in the company and they’ll make it fucking hell for you.
